Bare Root simply means that all the soil has been washed away from your succulent, thus the roots are now bare. Some sellers only ship their plants out this way. They rinse off the soil and then may wrap individually or in groups. We could do this, if we shipped a very small number of plants out and raised our prices for the extra time and labor (and it is extra time and labor) but our goal is to sell our succulents as cheap as possible to the consumer and to sell a lot of plants! The very large majority of succulents we ship arrive just fine. But sometimes soil can get displaced as already stated. Our video and picture tutorials show how to quickly fix this.
The end result of getting a bare rooted plant is you will STILL have to handle soil, put soil into a container, put plant in, add soil on top, and then give a drink and rinse etc. AND you'd still be paying more on top of this. We're not being lazy by not Bare Rooted shipping. We're just trying to pass on great plants at a great price with hopefully the least amount of work for you, our valued customer!
