Should I get my Wedding / Event large order of succulents early so I can grow them?

We often get asked this question with customers telling us they have a green thumb, they grew up around plants and have no problem taking care of their succulents weeks and months prior to their big event.  Succulents are not regular houseplants.  They can be picky about their conditions, heat, humidity, sunlight, cold, watering etc.  There is a good reason succulents are mainly grown in Southern California on a large scale, it's because they are extremely happy growing here.  We don't doubt your green thumb, but w/ large orders it's not worth the risk of your plants going downhill in appearance.  We strongly recommend your succulents arrive approx. 7-10 days prior to your event.  We generally do not hear from the customers that have success growing theirs out, rather we do hear from the customers that struggle with their growing conditions(99% of the time it's the growing conditions and not the plants!)and then need to reorder more so they have enough for their big day.  Focus on all the other details Event related, leave the growing and care to us!
